Jamia Masjid o Imambargah Hussainia

ra Channan Din came into existence in 1974. later on it was known as Macca Colony. The Government of Pakistan founded a lot of colonies in the different cities of Pakistan in the same year. Residential Organizations were introduced in each district. Syed kausar Ali Shah, the chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party well know as (PPP) was appointed as chairman of this organization in Lahore. Eight plots for church, eight for ahl-e-sunat wal jamat and eight for masjid-o-imambargah were allotted with the recommendation of Professor Tasadaq Hussain Jaffery, the Founder of Najaf College, today well known as (Government Najaf High School, Gulberg II).
